World leaders from over 150 countries have gathered in Paris for the 2015 United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP21) to address the irreversible damage done to our planet by us due to CO2 emissions. With record breaking global temperatures and extreme weather events causing more deaths than ever before, for the first time in 20 years the UN is aiming to achieve a legally binding and universal agreement to keep global warming from exceeding 2 degrees Celsius.
