The “Great Recession” brought too much hardship and too little of the change many hoped would mark 2009. But 2010 is a new year! While we think and act toward a more just society, let’s be grateful for some things that remain constant: namely, the Institute for Policy Studies Winter Solstice Party.

Because Main Street is still in the midst of a recession, we need to remember those who have been hit hardest, even as we’re celebrating. We ask all attendees to bring a nonperishable food item, toiletries, or clothing, which will be donated to Martha’s Table and SOME.

Come and celebrate this year’s accomplishments with your friends in the progressive community. Food and entertainment will be provided, courtesy of staff, board members, and the IPS Players.
