From 10:45 to 11:45 IPS's Phyllis Bennis will be a Keynote speaker for the Middle East Peace Education Coalition (MEPEC) conference. Whether you are new to this issue of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict or you have studied the topic for years this symposium is for you! Learn about Americas role in the occupation, faith perspectives on the conflict and becoming active in peacemaking. Speakers include:

• Rev.Naim Ateek a Palestinian priest and Founder and former Director of Sabeel and ecumenical theology center in Jerusalem.
• Phyllis Bennis is a Program Director at the Institute for Policy Studies in DC, writer, activist, and analyst on the Middle East and UN Issues.
