neneThe Institute for Policy Studies proudly joins the eighth annual DC Palestinian Film and Arts Festival (DCPFAF), which will run from October 2 to October 7, 2018. This year’s festival, Threads of Resilience, features 13 feature and short films, acclaimed Palestinian actor and Spotlight Artist Saleh Bakri, Palestinian embroidery workshops, painting workshops, and ends with a night of stand-up comedy at the Kennedy Center with Mona Aburmishan (FREE)! The DC Palestinian Film and Arts Festival champions the work of Palestinian artists and filmmakers in Palestine and in diaspora, showcasing the range and complexity of Palestinian identities and narratives. Through the dedicated work of IPS board member Noura Erakat, as well as Huda Asfour and Nadia Daar, IPS has been a proud partner of the DCPFAF since 2014.
