Restorative Justice (RJ) practices offer an equitable setting for fostering student voices in schools. Eunkyung Ahn, educator and RJ practioner completing her MA in Restorative Justice at Eastern Mennonite University, will discuss interview and documentary data she is using to examine a middle school implementation of a school-wide model of RJ practices in Incheon, South Korea. Her study demonstrates the effectiveness of school based RJ practices on youth empowerment and adds to our understanding of restorative justice in educational settings.
