US Abandons Kurds Again
Trump's decision to withdraw troops has resulted in hundreds of thousands of civilians being displaced by clashes between the Turkish military and Kurds.

Trump’s decision to remove U.S. troops from northern Syria paved the way for the Turkish military to move in, unimpeded by the American presence.
The abandonment of the Kurdish people by the U.S. was akin to betrayal, After all, thousands of Kurdish fighters have died while fighting ISIS alongside U.S. troops.
Phyllis Bennis, director of the New Internationalism Project at the Institute for Policy Studies, joined Law and Disorder Radio to discuss the Kurdish people, the conflict between the Turkish government and Syrian Kurds, and the role the U.S. is playing in the region.
