As devastating scenes from the failed U.S. evacuation of Afghanistan play out for the world to see, onlookers rightfully question the decisions that led to them.

Was this the right time for the U.S. to exit Afghanistan? How did the Taliban overtake the U.S.-backed Afghan government so quickly? Was there more the U.S. could have to done in order to prevent the tragic and chaotic events that took place at the Kabul airport?
