The planet is experiencing a climate crisis. The international community must pivot away from fossil fuels and toward clean energy. It must also do so in an equitable way, so that the most vulnerable populations do not shoulder the burden of transition.

The Global Just Transition project has worked with its partners in the Global South on projects involving Green colonialism, climate financing, climate debt and reparations, and post-growth alternatives. It also coordinates a network on Rare Earth Elements.

The project is coordinated by IPS associate fellow, John Feffer, along with an advisory committee of 100 climate activists and scholars from around the world.
