Ta’Kyla Bates is a Henry A. Wallace Fellow at the Institute for Policy Studies. Ta'Kyla is deeply passionate about youth empowerment, racial equity, and storytelling as tools for justice and healing. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Social Policy at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on reimagining systems that impact low-income and marginalized youth, especially in education.
