IPS is committed to building a cohort that reflects identities across a wide range of experience. We know that internships often have not embraced or lifted up marginalized groups, and we aim to change that. As we work to transform the make-up of our world’s future movement leaders, we are deeply committed to supporting diversity (across races, ethnicities, genders, sexualities, levels of ability, etc.) in the next generation of public scholars. Why does this statement matter to you?
(Required)
In order to successfully and sensitively build power from the ground up, we believe we need to be conscious of the ways in which class and economic inequality intersect with movement building. Why does this matter to you? How does your lived experience inform your interest in these issues?
