Despite being a well-known anti-Semitic trope to question the loyalty of Jewish people, U.S. President Donald Trump recently suggested Jews who support Democrats are “disloyal.”

Phyllis Bennis, director of the New Internationalism Project at the Institute for Policy Studies, joined KPFA’s the Sunday Show to discuss Trump’s comments, the growing pressure of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, and the unprecedented move Trump made by encouraging a foreign leader, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to bar sitting members of the U.S. Congress from entering the country.
