Toward A Shared Prosperity

September 29, 2016 @ 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm

towards-a-shared-prosperity-conference_croppedAt a time when the growing wealth gap is creating mounting anxiety in communities across the country, it is important to understand how corporate practices and policies may be affecting
America’s ever-widening economic divide. From wage disparities and job retention to environmental and social performance, how can corporations help reframe the corporate social contract in a way that prioritizes people over profits and leads them to build a more shared prosperity?

Join an afternoon of conversation that explores these themes with thought leaders from the fields of faith, justice and corporate responsibility working to address the growing wealth divide threatening the fabric of our society. Among them is Sarah Anderson, Director of the Institute for Policy Studies’ Global Economy Project.

Learn how might corporate practices be fueling inequality and, importantly, how might corporations, investors, governmental organizations and civil society work collaboratively to find the solutions that will lead us towards a more shared prosperity. A cocktail reception will follow the program.
