Toward A New US Foreign Policy – San Francisco

October 25, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

You’re invited to “Toward a NEW US FOREIGN POLICY” with speakers Phyllis Bennis and Reese Erlich.

In this forum, two leading experts on international relations will explore numerous questions regarding American foreign policy: What would a progressive US foreign policy look like? How could it encourage other nations to pursue self-determination, stability, peace, justice, and environmental sustainability? What measures would be most likely to gain international support and friendship for the United States? And how can progressives incorporate these goals into our expanding movement for social and economic change? The speakers will address the failures of past and current US foreign policy and develop a contrasting vision of a future that we should be working to realize now.

Reese Erlich, best-selling author and award-winning freelance journalist; radio documentary producer and commentator; author of The Iran Agenda Today: the Real Story from Inside Iran and What’s Wrong with U.S. Policy (2018)

Phyllis Bennis (speaking via phone), scholar and activist; director of the New Internationalism Project; founding member of the U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation; author of Understanding ISIS and the New Global War on Terror: A Primer (2015)

Co-sponsored by San Francisco Berniecrats. More information contact PDA -SF: Shirley – slg4re@comcast.net.
