Foreign Policy In Focus and the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins presents a workshop on the prospects for peace in Asia. Presenters will include Gwyn Kirk (East Asia-US-Puerto Rico Women’s Network Against Militarism), Wade Huntley (Simons Centre for Peace and Disarmament Studies at the University of British Columbia), and John Feffer (Foreign Policy In Focus/IPS). Jae-Jung Suh of SAIS will moderate.
The workshop, entitled Future of the Six Party Talks: New Peace Mechanism or New Arms Race?, will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, at the Rome Building, room 812. The Rome Building is located on 1619 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., near Dupont Circle, in Washington, DC.
