Institute for Policy Studies’ projects: Green Security Project, Genuine Progress Project, and New Internationalism Project join with Maryland Coalition to Fund Our Communities and other co-sponsors Peace Action, United for Peace and Justice, CODEPINK, Progressive Democrats of America, MoveOn DC, and Pax Christi Metro DC-Baltimore for to rally at the U.S. Capitol.

At this rally “The Ghost of Dwight Eisenhower” will deliver a message to Barack Obama; legislators and advocates will speak out for a progressive, moral budget; and music designed to inspire will close out the day. Many of the guests will be fresh from a bus caravan where they will have visited sites in Maryland throughout the day, showcasing unmet needs of our communities.
