The debate about inequality is often stuck with the belief that policy changes aimed at reducing inequality will be bad for the economy. In reality, these extreme inequalities of wealth, income and opportunity are undermining prosperity and healthy economic activity. In this talk, inequality expert Chuck Collins lays out the current wealth disparity picture, why it matters, and what is driving these trends. Most of the program is solution oriented, looking at the remedies and possibilities for change. Collins identifies “game changing” campaigns that have the potential to engage the broader public and move us toward a shared prosperity economy.
