Great news! The military parade has been cancelled. We are building on that victory with this Peace Congress, events in Washington, DC for the weekend of November 9 To 11, 2018 to reclaim Armistice Day and end U.S. wars at home and abroad. Netfa Freeman of the Institute for Policy Studies, and Black Alliance for Peace will be one of several speakers at opening plenary on challenges and opportunities for building a movement to end U.S. wars at home and abroad.
Other speakers will include Angela Bibens of Red Owl Law and Standing Rock, Bernadette Ellorin of BAYAN USA, Cheri Honkala of Poor People’s Economic and Human Rights Campaign, Eugene Puryear of Stop Police Terror Project, and more to be announced.
Please register if you plan to attend and get information on the full congress here.
