The​ ​League​ ​of​ ​Women​ ​Voters​ ​of​ ​the​ ​Williamsburg​ ​Area​ ​and the​ ​Williamsburg​ ​Regional​ ​Library​ ​will​ ​proudly​ ​sponsor​ ​the extremely​ ​popular​ ​Greate Decisions Series.​ ​​This​ ​will​ ​mark the​ ​35th​ ​year​ ​of​ ​bringing​ ​the​ ​best​ ​and​ ​brightest​ ​speakers about​ ​foreign​ ​policy​ ​in​ ​an​ ​interesting​ ​and​ ​informative format​ ​to​ ​our​ ​area. The featured speaker for is session is IPS Fellow Phyllis Bennis directs the New Internationalism Project at IPS. Phyllis will address “The Mythology of Pax Americana“, focusing on how the post-World War II relative peace in the powerful countries of the global north never meant peace for the rest of the world. What’s changed and what’s remained the same under Donald Trump.
