Book Event: Undocumented and Unafraid

What does it mean to have no papers and no fear? Come hear from the authors of Undocumented and Unafraid and learn how “Dreamers” came to lead the new immigrant youth movement many are calling the civil rights movement of our time. By going from the shadows to the frontlines, these young people give a face of perseverance and a voice of hope to all who listen.
Undocumented and Unafraid is written by and about undocumented youth. Hear their stories, read their words, and get your copy signed at this event! Undocumented and Unafraid will be available at the Teaching for Change bookstore for $10.
The event will also include a slide presentation of photos, a 7 minute video, and a spoken word/musical performance. The event will conclude with a book signing by the book’s contributors and free bookmarks will also be available.
