By 2035, the number of Americans over the age of eighty-five will more than double to 11.5 million. Americans are living longer than ever before, a massive shift that calls into question our ability to care for our families and support our loved ones to age with dignity. And that question touches each of us. Against this backdrop, The Age of Dignity offers specific, sustainable solutions for transforming the inadequate and out-of-date system of long-term care in America today.

Through recent research and personal stories, Ai-jen Poo describes the mounting pressures facing a growing majority of American families.
