The resignation of Syrian Special Envoy Lakhdar Brahimi means we need a renewed effort to press both major powers, the US and Russia, as well as the regional and other players, to stop arming all sides in Syria, and instead call for an immediate ceasefire, a full arms embargo on all sides, new negotiations, and massive humanitarian assistance.
